Women's advocacy group argues Arkansas law should be nationwide

Forced abortion is the leading cause of women hurt by abortion, according to a group dedicated to helping such women. The group wants the rest of the nation to follow Arkansas' lead in making it a crime to coerce a woman into having an abortion. The Silent No More Awareness Campaign, the nation's largest network of women hurt by abortion, says a version of an Arkansas law is needed nationwide-one which requires abortion businesses to post a sign stating that women cannot be forced to have an abortion they do not want. Silent No More spokeswoman Janet Morana says the overwhelming majority of women who have their baby killed do it because someone coerced them."We have cases where even husbands were telling wives 'we have three or four children, and we don't want any more.If you don't have an abortion I will leave you.'Now that's pretty much coercion if I ever heard it," Morana points out.She says she can tell by the women's voices that they had their babies killed not by choice, but by force-thus having their supposed"right to choose"stripped from them.
Morana asserts that abortion clinics have a financial interest in women having abortions,so the last thing they are going to do is let women know they have a real choice-one that does not involve the killing of their child.
