Boy Brings Homemade Explosives to Packed Church

A teenager armed with 15 homemade explosives in his backpack entered the sanctuary of East Valley Bible Church in Gilbert, Ariz., with 700 people inside.The 16-year-old later detonated one of the M-80s in the church parking lot, police said.According to officers, the teen, a member of the church, attempted to set off several of the explosives in an adjacent greenbelt area before carrying the backpack containing the explosives into the church.It could have been fatal had static electricity inside the church ignited any of the devices.Neil Pitchel,an associate pastor at the church,said ushers heard a loud explosion and found the teen with a few friends in the parking lot.The boy’s parents were aware that their son was interested in bombs,said officers. The Mesa police bomb squad later searched the teen’s Chandler home.They discovered chemicals and materials consistent with what is used to construct homemade explosives.“We believe that the motive for this was simply experimentation,”said Sgt. Andrew Duncan.The teen faces charges of endangerment and possession of explosives.According to the police report,the explosives are about the size of a roll of quarters.“They’re much more powerful than a firecracker,smaller than a stick of dynamite.But these can do considerable damage,can cause very serious injury if not death,”Duncan said.

PS:Lots of questions here....how did this teen got the chemicals and materials?if the parents knew he had somewhat "interest in making bombs"wouldn't that sound an alarm in your head?boy I could keep on with the questions,but that just to show you that there is absolutely no place safe EXCEPT in God's Will and Hands at this end time...
