Reuters journalist freed from US custody
RUSSIA TODAY:The US military in Iraq freed an Iraqi freelance journalist working for the Thomson Reuters media group on Wednesday after holding him for 17 months without charge, the company said. It is unknown why he was arrested and why he has been released, there is no access to the investigation. Many of the Iraqi journalists are being arrested because the US military has a hard time distinguishing between fighters and journalists.
