Oil Slips Below $69 Ahead of U.S. Jobs Report
Oil prices slipped below $69 a barrel Thursday in Asia as investors looked to the release of a key U.S. employment report for hints on the outlook for the world's largest economy.Benchmark crude for August delivery fell 93 cents to $68.32 a barrel by late afternoon Singapore time in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. On Tuesday, it fell 58 cents to settle at $69.31.
