The path to peace in the Middle East is not a unilateral road to be taken by Israel alone, but one that must be shared by the Arab community, US Senator John Kerry told Binyamin Netanyahu on the second day of his first trip to Washington as prime minister.
"I emphasized to the prime minister the importance of Israel moving forward, especially with respect to the settlement issue," Kerry said during a press conference which followed a meeting between the two. "I also emphasized that this is not a one-way street and the burden is not only on Israel to take all the steps. It is vital that the Arab community… take steps."
