Explosion in mosque kills 15 in southeast Iran

An explosion in a mosque killed 15 people and wounded 80 Thursday in southeast Iran near the volatile Pakistani border, the state news agency said.
Iranian officials were investigating the cause of the explosion in the city of Zahedan, some 1,000 miles (1,600 kilometers) southeast of the capital, Tehran, said the Islamic Republic News Agency.
