'Star of David Doormats' Sales Rise in Syria

(IsraelNN.com) Syrians snapped up doormats featuring the Star of David to demonstrate anger at Israel during Operation Cast Lead, the Saudi Arabian newspaper Arab News reported. The doormats began to surface in Beirut several years ago and are a continuing sale item in both countries.Similar doormats with the Israel flag previously have been sold in other countries, including the United States where they have been popular with white supremacists.
