Should we pray? Yes, Christians should pray even for those who may curse or mistreat us: “Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you” (Luke 6:28, NIV). Whereas Islam tells people to blow up their enemies, Jesus tells us to love our enemies. This is not to say that Obama is our enemy, but his stance on some vital issues tells us he is an enemy of God’s truths.
How to pray. Yesterday, WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah published a controversial article titled “Pray Obama Fails.” This is contrary to the popular mantra among some weak-kneed conservative leaders, ministers, and pundits that they want Obama to “succeed.” Hogwash! Farah makes some good points. How can we pray for Obama’s anti-biblical policies to succeed?
