As Operation Cast Lead moved into its second week, Palestinians showed no sign of ending their rocket attacks against Israel, firing at least 34 projectiles Saturday.In the latest attack, a Kassam rocket hit an open area in the Eshkol region on Saturday night. No one was wounded and no damage was reported.On Saturday evening, a woman sustained light shrapnel wounds when a rocket fired by Gaza terrorists hit a house in Netivot on Saturday afternoon(picture left).The house collapsed after the strike. Earlier, two people were lightly wounded when a Grad-type rocket slammed into an eight-story building in Ashdod. At least three other people on the scene were treated for shock.A number of other buildings were damaged by rockets Saturday.One rocket hit a cafeteria in a kibbutz on the Gaza periphery, another started a fire in the yard of a house in Ashkelon, a third hit a playground in the city, while a fourth damaged a building in the Ashkelon beach area. Netivot, Sderot, Gan Yavne, Kiryat Melachi, the Sha'ar Hanegev region, and the Eshkol region also reported rocket strikes.Nobody was wounded in any of the latter attacks.The morning volley followed a barrage of 36 rockets on Friday in which seven people were lightly wounded and three residential buildings were damaged.
