Iranian foreign minister in Russia for talks

MOSCOW-Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki is to meet his Russian counterpart for talks on Friday, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.Mottaki will hold discussions with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, a Foreign Ministry official told Reuters, without giving further details.Russia, a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, has played a prominent role in negotiations with Tehran over its nuclear ambitions.
