Pelosi: When Life Begins Shouldn’t Have An Impact On A Woman’s Right To Choose

Here’s an exchange between Rep. Nancy Pelosi and Tom Brokaw about the problems Obama’s having with defining when life begins:
Brokaw: …“I if [Obama] were to come to you and say ‘help me out here, Madam Speaker, when does life begin,’ what would you tell him?
Pelosi: “I would say that as an ardent practicing Catholic this is an issue that I have studied for a long time, and what I know is over the centuries the doctors of the Church have not been able to make that definition. And St. Augustine said three months. We don’t know. The point is it that it shouldn’t have an impact on a woman’s right to chose.”
It shouldn’t have an impact?Really? The question of when life begins doesn’t matter when it comes to the issues surrounding the end of that life? This illustrates just how thoroughly the proponents of abortion have brainwashed themselves.Once they told us that abortion was ok because life didn’t begin until birth. Now they’re willing to admit that they’re still in favor of abortion even if the child in the womb can be defined as a life.Which means they’ve resigned themselves to condoning murder as a form of birth control. As for when life begins, the reason so many Democrats like Obama and Pelosi struggle with this is because the answer itself is simple and terribly inconvenient for their position.Life begins at conception because at the point of conception begins a continuum of growth and development that does not stop until death. Trying to pick a point in that continuum and say “before this life doesn’t exist but after it does” is as absurd as saying the first three innings in a baseball game don’t count.Life begins at conception. If you support abortion, you’re going to have to admit as Nancy Pelosi does (although I’ll bet she wishes now she hadn’t) that you are in favor of killing babies.
