Tsvangirai says Zimbabweans will be forced to vote

LISBON-Zimbabweans will be forced to vote in a presidential election on Friday because of the presence of troops and militias close to President Robert Mugabe's government, opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai said."What will happen tomorrow is that people will be forced to vote ... because the military were mobilized to aaccompanycompany this process," Tsvangirai said on Thursday in an interview with Portuguese radio station Renascenca, which gave Reuters a transcript. "The militias were put outside the cities to oblige traditional leaders to go to the urns," Tsvangirai said.
