MEMORIAL DAY 2008

My Memorial Day was quiet and beautiful.
We spent the day with friends and veterans.We ate good food,had good laughs and just had long talks and remember the goodness of the Lord towards us all these years and how one of our friends was delivered from certain death in Vietnam by the Hand of the Lord.
The weather was pretty good,even though it was humid and hot,but we had to just enjoy and relax.
And of course....late afternoon,we had to fix home made ice cream:strawberry and chocolate!!!!!
I was online just part of the day to show my friends some videos on the disaster in China.
When the night fell on us we could see the lightning flashes to the west--anouncing rain--so that was the end of the gathering...
I THANK GOD,for AMERICA and for the BRAVE MEN and WOMEN of valor that gave it all for people like me to have freedom today.
Im blessed to have many in my family that served our beautiful nation,and with their stories we could fill books and books,just testimony after tesimony of God's goodness and deliverance.
My heart goes out to parents wifes,husbands,children,and siblings of those that gave their lives for ous.
If you reading are one of them,know that we are many millions that have no words to express our gratitude towards your sacrifice.
We pray for you and we say THANK YOU...
And for those with a loved one on the frontlines now,I tell you the same:YOU ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED and with DEEP GRATITUDE we bless you and your family and PRAY for you and your loved one that he/she can come back home safe soon.
It was good yesterday to celebrate AMERICA...The land that seems to suffer violence by those that want to change it into something that never was and is not.
Let's keep our country in our prayers.
WE need a NATIONAL REVIVAL...
IF we dont see a REVIVAL I think we are --socially and morally--headed to spiritual destruction.
And if you-that are reading-are not american,I urge you to lift up your nation in prayer too...
For as it is written:
"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God"
(Psalm 9:17)

May God helps us to be faithful to Him to the end!!!!!!
