CULTURE of DEATH:Mexico Promoted as Place to Buy Suicide Drugs

At least 200 terminally ill patients have visited Mexico since 2001 to buy a cheap, widely available suicide drug, according to the Mexican newspaper Reforma.Exit International, a pro-death Australian organization, promotes Mexico as a destination for patients seeking to kill themselves.Rita Marker, executive director and attorney for the International Task Force on Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide, said: “It’s the same message that the assisted-suicide and euthanasia groups have been promoting for years, and that is, 'If you want to kill yourself or you want someone else to kill you, get drugs and have it done.'"All of these groups have been suggesting ‘drug tourism’ — to go to Mexico and to get the drugs.”
