LEWDNESS WATCH:Denver Airport Blocks Online Access to Pornography

Denver International Airport (DIA), which offers free Internet access, has blocked access to Web sites that contain indecent content.DIA spokesman Chuck Cannon said officials would rather deal with complaints about blocked sites than handle complaints from angry parents whose children have been exposed to pornography at their airport.Daniel Weiss, senior analyst for media and sexuality at Focus on the Family Action, said it's unfortunate the airport is being criticized for its decision.“There seems to be a trend gaining traction in society that the desires of adults should trump the needs of children,” he said. “Thankfully, the officials at DIA have taken a stand to protect children and adults from content that psychologists know to be harmful. How sad that a handful of people are complaining about not getting to watch porn in a public area.”
TAKE ACTION
Thank Denver International Airport officials for protecting children from pornography.
