London - A 38-year-old man has been charged with preparing a terrorist attack, police said Sunday.The unidentified man from Birmingham was charged on Saturday night with one offence under Section 5 of Britain's Terrorism Act 2006. He was to appear in a London court on Monday, police said.The charge "relates to the alleged engagement in conduct for the preparation of an intention to commit an act of terrorism," they said.No one else was being sought in connection with the alleged crime, which police described as a real threat of terrorism.
