LET IT SNOW,LET IT SNOW,LET IT SNOW....

Dear friends and visitors:

Now as the weather guy said....we're getting pounded by white flaky snow....I think we already have 2 inches on the ground and keeps falling.

Power is being restored in most of the city but there are still many people without it...and this snow storm doesn't make things easier for the crews working around the clock.

My dog is laying on her doggie bed watching the snow falling through the window...she already had a "snow-fun-run"in the morning and I think she rather stays here by me INside the house...She may be a husky but she's learnt to appreciate a good fire....

Life seems to have returned to pretty normal pace,but there are still many power lines down and tons of debris everywhere which will take months-as they are saying-to clear up.

I'm thankful with the Lord that He has kept us from harm and from the cold of this week.

WIth this crisis,I meditated a lot on the word "contentment".....It doesn't seem to be many people that is really "content" with what they have or they lack of,and that includes christians.Lots of road rage and fighting at the stores ust for items....

IF we were more CONTENT with whichever state we are things would be a little bit different.

Contentment for the christian comes from the fact that we KNOW in WHOM we have believed and that HE is KING and SOVEREIGN and is always watching over us.So then there is no fear,only TRUST and REST.

God is still on the throne and HE still provides for every need we have...It seems that we always want more though...

I encourage you to thank God for your situation whichever it can be,whether you are sick or lonely or a little short in funds,or dissapointed,or hurt....HE knows it all,and HE CARES for you,like nobody else in this world will.

HE hasn't changed,He is STILL the SAME,YESTERDAY TODAY and FOREVER,and He can be your Healer,your Friend,your PROVIDER,your TRUTH,your FAITHFUL SAVIOUR,and everything you need...He said that HE would be with us EVEN UNTILL THE END....!!!
He hasn't forgotten us and HE WONT.

Cry out to Him in your need,cause He is Faithful and He will incline His ears to your cry and will come and HELP YOU....I'm a Living testimony of that!!!!!

What a wonderful Saviour we have!!!
