LOS ANGELES - Civil rights advocates criticized plans by the Los Angeles Police Department to [[map the city's Muslim communities,]](1) calling it racial profiling.{{{The LAPD's counterterrorism bureau plans to identify Muslim enclaves in order to determine which might be likely to become isolated and susceptible to "violent, ideologically based extremism," }}}(awesome)said Deputy Chief Michael P. Downing on Thursday."We want to know where the Pakistanis, Iranians and Chechens are so we can reach out to those communities," said Downing, who heads the counterterrorism bureau.Downing said the plan is still in its early stages, but the LAPD wants to work with a Muslim partner and intends to have the data assembled by the University of Southern California's Center for Risk and Economic Analysis.Downing testified about the plan before a U.S. Senate committee on Oct. 30.In his testimony,Downing said his bureau wanted to "take a deeper look at the history, demographics, language, culture, ethnic breakdown, socioeconomic status and social interactions"of the city's Muslim communities.There are an estimated [[[[500,000 Muslims in Los Angeles,]]] Orange and Riverside counties.On Thursday, several Muslim groups and the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California sent Downing a letter expressing "grave concerns" about the program.{{{{"Singling out individuals for investigation, surveillance, and data-gathering based on their religion constitutes religious profiling that is just as unlawful, ill-advised and deeply offensive as racial profiling,"}}}}(2) said the letter.It was signed by representatives of the ACLU of Southern California; Muslim Advocates, a national association of Muslim lawyers; the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California and the Council on American-Islamic Relations.The plan "basically turns the LAPD officers into religious political analysts, while their role is to fight crime and enforce the laws," said Hussam Ayloush, head of the Los Angeles chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, who signed the letter.However, another group, the Muslim Public Affairs Council, is considering working with the LAPD on the project."We will work with the LAPD and give them input, while at the same time making sure that people's civil liberties are protected," said Salam al-Marayati, the council's executive director.

We are taking other measures as protecting our borders better,I don't understand why muslims would have a hard time complying with this new measure....IF you have nothing to hide,then...where is the problem...?After all they are looking for the "radical elements" in the community,not for those that live peacefully and within the boundaries of the law.Those muslims that work and study and are profitable to society and that are not radicalized or "JIHADIZED".
They are especifically looking for those that "ARE" among the muslim community and bring the "JIHAD IDEOLOGY" to their local mosques and are looking for young blood to recruit them into their bloodthirsty cult.
(2)"Singling out individuals...based in their religion...is anlawful and ill advised,etc"Well....IF you that are reading is or are muslims,please don't think Im hateful at all with you or think that I have something against muslims.That is not the case....On the contrary...Im very aware of the challenges that the muslim communities face all over the world.
BUT IT IS A REALITY that in Middle Eastern countries,where ISLAM is the religion,governments,police and individuals do to christians exactly what they are complaining of being the targets themselves here in America....
Is it nice???NO....!!!Of course....BUT keep in mind muslim reader and other,that AT LEAST here in America,you won't get a visit from the police at night,you're not gonna be beaten up,your children are not gonna be raped in front of you,you are not gonna be thrown in jail just for being a muslim,your properties won't be confiscated and given away,and you are not gonna be fired just because you are a muslim,you are not gonna be TORTURED making you sign a paper DENYING your muslim religion and FORCING YOU TO CONVERT TO CHRISTIANISM,you are not gonna be BEHEADED,because you are just a muslim,You are NOT gonna be thrown into a mental institution and be given electroshocks,just because we want to REEDUCATE YOU INTO CHRISTIANISM.....
So If you are a muslim reader,think about it....WISn't it a little thing to comply with new measures...???
Is it gonna be pleasant to have a police car sitting across the street from your local mosque or place of reunion...???OF COURSE NOT....!!!!!!
But think of the perils christians,jews,hindus-just to name a few- have to go through IN the Middle East JUST BECAUSE THEY WORSHIP A DIFFERENT GOD....
I know there are many good law abiding muslims in California....
The Law is not looking for them...The law is looking for those that pose a threat even for muslims,trying to hijack the minds of youg muslims into a delusion of death....The law is looking for those that consider an honour to blow themselves up and in so doing killing even innocent children in the name of allah,Just Because that's what they understand the Koran is demanding of them....
Im sorry these measures will cause distress to good abiding citizens....BUT we all need to help to single out those that are seeking death and destruction in our own soil,in the name of god.....
