Sunday morning, IDF soldiers carrying out a counter-terrorism operation south of Shechem spotted a car carrying weapons. An M-16 rifle, handgun and ammunition were confiscated by the soldiers and the driver was handed over for interrogation.In Hevron Saturday night, soldiers arrested two wanted terrorists carrying approximately 100 shotgun bullets and several M-16 assault rifle clips.Gaza Mortar Cell Fired UponSaturday night and Sunday IDF troops operating in the Kerem Shalom adjacent to southern Gaza spotted a terrorist cell responsible for firing mortar shells at IDF targets in the area. The IDF forces opened fired at the terrorists, who escaped into densely populated areas of Hamas-controlled Gaza.
