Scottish Bible Society Determined to See Youth Interested in the Word of God

"My great hope is that we will increasingly see teenagers, students, and young adults taking the mission of the society to heart and engaging in the work of getting the Bible and its message out to people across the globe."
(Scotland) Fiona Baker, a new youth development manager for the Scottish Bible Society in Edinburgh, Scotland, is encouraging young people to get interested in the Word of God.Calling it an exciting challenge, she said: "Living with the iPod generation means the Bible is increasingly faced with the 'boring and irrelevant' label. I am thrilled to get stuck into the work of helping young people engage and interact with the Bible and its message."I long to see young people captivated by the goldmine of adventure, poetry, history, gripping narrative and brilliant imagery that makes up the story of God."My great hope is that we will increasingly see teenagers, students, and young adults taking the mission of the society to heart and engaging in the work of getting the Bible and its message out to people across the globe."
