"Benedict issues statement asserting that Jesus established ‘only one church’" LORENZAGO DI CADORE, Italy-Pope Benedict XVI has reasserted the universal primacy of the Roman Catholic Church, approving a document released Tuesday that says Orthodox churches were defective and that other Christian denominations were not true churches.Benedict approved a document from his old offices at the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith that restates church teaching on relations with other Christians. It was the second time in a week the pope has corrected what he says are erroneous interpretations of the Second Vatican Council, the 1962-65 meetings that modernized the church.On Saturday, Benedict revisited another key aspect of Vatican II by reviving the old Latin Mass.Traditional Catholics cheered the move, but more liberal ones called it a step back from Vatican II.Benedict, who attended Vatican II as a young theologian, has long complained about what he considers the erroneous interpretation of the council by liberals, saying it was not a break from the past but rather a renewal of church tradition.In the latest document-formulated as five questions and answers-the Vatican seeks to set the record straight on Vatican II’s ecumenical intent, saying some contemporary theological interpretation had been “erroneous or ambiguous” and had prompted confusion and doubt.It restates key sections of a 2000 document the pope wrote when he was prefect of the congregation, “Dominus Iesus,” which set off a firestorm of criticism among Protestant and other Christian denominations because it said they were not true churches but merely ecclesial communities and therefore did not have the “means of salvation.”“Christ ‘established here on earth’ only one church,” the document said. The other communities “cannot be called ‘churches’ in the proper sense” because they do not have apostolic succession-the ability to trace their bishops back to Christ’s original apostles.

PS:Well folks,this past week I commented on these "new moves" by the pope and I was wondering what was he thinking next....Here it goes he comes out and makes a sad statement that the Roman Catholic Church is THE ONLY ONE....Well he said something that is true(Somehow) that "Christ established one true church"BUT unlike what he means-the truth is IN THE BIBLE,and yes He established the church.When the pope says the ONLY ONE CHURCH,he always refer to the Roman Catholic Church.Period.
If the Roman Catholic Church was the Only ONE TRUE CHURCH,they wouldn't need a whole bunch of rites and set of "beliefs" that are man made,right...?Every member would be encouraged to read their Bibles instead of letting a man "interpret it for them",and also encouraged to have a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with Christ,people would be saved BY FAITH not by works that nobody would boast.
As I said before the Roman Catholic Church is nothing BUT the largest Babylonian Cult still on earth is a "Babylon Remixed".I KNOW FIRST HAND.I was a part of it for many, many dark years,and I went as high as I was allowed being young being loyal to the Roman Catholic Church and it's teachings.In my family we have priests and nuns and some bishops.When I finally got saved back on 1986,I was "excommunicated" from my family,call a heretic and my family shunned me out for many years,calling me all sorts of things.Even my dad was shocked being that he had being on his way to be ordained a priest in the past and the ecclesial authorities upon him decided that he would serve God better as a lay man.I was raised with the mass being "replayed" every night home in latin,as my father presided.I know about penitences and indulgences and purgatory and walking on my knees going upstairs to the virgin Mary's chamber,following sometimes a trail of blood drops of the hundreds of people before me that were doing the same and had already peeled off their knees..all that rubbish that is man made,and the worst part is that WON"T TAKE YOU TO HEAVEN.It was heartbreaking to do all these things and still having that sense of desperation and void inside of not knowing what the future of my soul would be.There was no peace,no joy,no nothing.
The Roman Catholic Church is a BLIND guiding the BLIND to HELL.
If you that are reading are a part of it,DON"T GET OFFENDED....GET OUT OF THERE ASAP!!!If you feel aggravated for what I say just go look in history books and see what the Roman Catholic Church is REALLY ALL ABOUT.IS NOT the Church the Lord Jesus Christ established is just Babylonian cult remixed....I will talk about that later in another post.The pope being the Head of the Roman Catholic Church is still now as I type these lines as lost as any other lost soul in the world.
