Flash floods have swept through villages in Pakistan, hampering attempts to bring aid to more than one million people hit by storms.At least 50 people are feared to have died in the latest flooding in Balochistan province.Poor communications and the remoteness of some affected areas means accurate figures for those killed since Cyclone Yemyin hit on Tuesday is unavailable.Many people have been without drinking water or electricity for days.Storms and floods have also affected other parts of South Asia, with more than 140 people killed over the past week in India. And in flooded parts of Afghanistan, more than 80 people have died in recent days.Relief commissioner Ali Gul Kurd said cyclone Yemyin, which struck on Tuesday, and floods had affected up to 1.5 million people in Pakistan.He said hundreds of villages had been inundated, with 90% of crops, cattle and houses destroyed in some areas.He also that the casualty figures could rise as dozens of people had been reported missing.Last weekend more than 200 people were killed in Pakistan's biggest city, Karachi, by floods and high winds.
