Our Daily Quake:3.7 Earthquake Rumbles Off Big Island

HONOLULU-An earthquake measuring 3.7 hit off shore of Honomu on Tuesday.It happened about 12:30 p.m. a mile off Honomu, 25 miles below the surface, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.The quake was not strong enough to create a tsunami, according to officials the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.There have been no reports of damage or injuries.
