Blast outside UK embassy in Chile

There has been an explosion outside the British Embassy in Chile, the Foreign Office has confirmed.A US news channel reported the small explosion took place outside the British and Israeli embassies around 2200 local time on Sunday and caused minor damage to the buildings.It is not yet known what caused the explosion in the country's capital city,Santiago.A Foreign Office spokesman said he was not aware of any casualties so far.The explosion was caused by a small package that apparently contained gunpowder, a police spokesman told CNN.Damage was limited to broken windows and dented doors, he added.Around 50,000 British tourists visit Chile every year and, according to the Foreign Office's website, most visits are "trouble-free"....{Till now....}

PS:I know this may sound too paranoid,but the first thing I thought was a terrorist statement in Chile.We'll need to follow up on this one but it's not crazy to think this could be the beginning of a series of attacks of UK and US interests in foreign lands as ALQaeda promised.IF that's the case people better start waking up and realizing that we are ALL affected in this GLOBAL JIHAD,that is Islam againt the rest of the world.
