R DAILY QUAKE:4.6 Quake Rattles Mammoth Lakes

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake shook the Mono Lake area in the eastern Sierra Nevada this morning.There are no reports of injuries or damage.The 12:23 am quake struck about nine miles southeast of Mammoth Lakes.The US Geological Survey says the temblor was preceded by a magnitude three-point-six quake and followed by several aftershocks over the next hour.
