'DOOMSDAY' VAULT DESIGN UNVEILED

The final design for a "doomsday" vault that will house seeds from all known varieties of food crops has been unveiled by the Norwegian government.
The Svalbard International Seed Vault will be built into a mountainside on a remote island near the North Pole.
The vault aims to safeguard the world's agriculture from future catastrophes, such as nuclear war, asteroid strikes and climate change.
Construction begins in March, and the seed bank is scheduled to open in 2008.

SE DEVELA DISENO DEL ALBERGUE DE SEGURIDAD DEL DIA DE DESTRUCCION
El diseno final para un albergue del dia de destruccion que guardara semillas de todas las variedades alimenticias conocidas ha sido develado por el gobierno de Noruega.
El albergue de seguridad de semillas de Svalbard,sera construido dentro de una montana en una remota isla del polo norte.
La meta de la caja de seguridad es de salvaguardar la agricultura del mundo de futuras catastrofes,tales como guerra nuclear,asteroides y cambios climaticos.
La construccion comenzo en marzo y el banco de semillas abrira en el 2008.
