Unknown offenders put a Muslim dress and head scarf on the famed Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen early Sunday May 20 2007, police said. After receiving a telephone call, a police car was dispatched to the site and she was undressed, Copenhagen police spokesman Jorgen Thomsen said. The Little Mermaid was created by Danish sculptor Edvard Eriksen in tribute to Danish storyteller Hans Christian Andersen. Sitting on a rock at the entrance of the Copenhagen harbor since 1913, she draws an estimated 1 million visitors a year, and is occasionally targeted by vandals.
It's not only big things as bombings and kidnappings and beheadings.It's little (big)things like this that speak of a dream that is still alive in a nation among the nations of the world.This is alarming...Last week it was especial restrooms for taxi drivers at an airport...Tomorrow it can be that all windows in a building have to be looking towards east...and so on...No...Im not exagerating....!

Delincuentes desconocidos,vistieron con un vestido y mantilla musulmana a la famosa estatua de la Sirenita en Copenhague temprano el domingo 20 de mayo del 2007,dijeron las autoridades.Luego de recibir una llamada telefonica,un movil policial fue despachado al lugar y la estatua fue desvestida,dijo el vocero oficial de la policia en Copenhagen Jorgen Thomsen.La Sirenita fue creada por el escultor danes,Edvar Eriksen en tributo al escritor Hans Christian Andersen.Sentada en una roca a la entrada del puerto de Copenhague desde 1913,atrae un estimado millon de visitantes al ano,y es ocasionalmente el objeto de vandalos.
No es solo las grandes cosas como bombardeos,raptos y decapitaciones.Es pequenas(grandes) cosas como estas que nos hablan de un sueno que aun esta vivo en esta "nacion" entre las naciones del mundo.Es alarmante...La semana pasada fueron banos especiales para taxistas en un aeropuerto...Manana puede ser que todas las ventanas de un edificio tienen que mirar al este...etc...no no estoy exagerando....!
