"Deputy Gets Chip With Medical Information Implanted "

A deputy with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has been implanted with a microchip that will give emergency doctors access to his medical information.
In a two-minute procedure, a doctor inserted the rice-sized chip just beneath the skin on the back of Sergeant Mike Tranchant's upper arm.
A Verichip Corporation official said the company offers the only FDA-approved, human-implantable microchip of this type.

The chip is not a tracking device, and it does not carry detailed information.
A special scanner retrieves a unique 16-digit number that medical personnel can use to access a database holding information that the chip's owner previously provided.

So why if it's not a tracking device and doesn't carry DETAILED INFO,when SCANNED can give access to a DATABASE holding INFO(which by the way is Very Personal)????????

Un oficial pertenenciente a la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Palm Beach en la Florida ha sido implantado con un microchip que le dara a los doctores de emergencia acceso a su informacion medica.

En un procedimiento de dos minutos,un medico inserto el chip del tamano de un grano de arroz,debajo de la piel en la parte superior del brazo del sargento Mike Tranchant.

Un oficial de la Corporacion Verichip,dijo que la compania ofrece el unico microchip aprobado por la FDA(Administracion Federal de Drogas),que se puede implantar en humanos de este tipo.

El chip no es un aparato de rastreo,y no contiene informacion detallada.

Un scanner especial devuelve una secuencia unica de 16 digitos,que el personal medico puede usar para acceder a una base de datos que contiene informacion que el dueno del microchip ha provisto anteriormente.

"El chip NO ES UN APARATO DE RASTREO y NO CONTIENE INFORMACION DETALLADA?"Entonces como si no es un aparato de rastreo y no contiene en si informacion detallada cuando es escaneado puede dar acceso a una base de datos con informacion(que dicho sea de paso es muy personal)??????
